With C-Guard from Siemens you have received the next generation of wax protection. The only wax guard to use the latest in wax proofing technology, C-Guard effectively seals the sound outlet with a membrane barrier to protect it from cerumen and moisture. It works without affecting the hearing instrument response because the membrane is acoustically transparent.

Cerumen that has built up externally on your C-Guard can be easily removed with a soft tissue. For best results, it is recommended to change your C-Guard approximately every three months. Replacement is very simple. A special tool is enclosed. Good lighting is all that’s needed to determine if your C-Guard needs replacing.

General Precautions:

• Make sure this item is compatible with your hearing aids.
• Inspect the membrane for integrity daily.
• Clean as necessary with soft tissue.
• Never use brushes or toothpick for cleaning.
• Never use running water or immerse the hearing instrument.
